Note: all student details and subject codes need to be in Timetabler before you can import student preferences.
The student preferences file is very similar to the file produced by Google Forms.
The format of the file: Student code, subject preference1, subject preference2, ...
Open Student Options file, click on PREFERENCES menu.
Within PREFERENCES click the IMPORT DATA button.
A dialog box will display and run you through the process.
Note: all student details and subject codes need to be in FirstClass before you can import student choices. Also, the order of choices does not matter in Firstclass as order is not used in the algorithms.
Go to FILE/Import/text files
From the Import Type drop down box - select Student Choices.
The format of the file: Student code, firstname, surname, Form (HG), Count(how many choices student has) choice1, choice2, ...
